Up on Vancouver Island they roof with metal shingles. We do a lot of metal roofing down here in Sydney, but I haven’t come across Ironwood Shakes before. You can read more about them at www.ryanparton.ca We use the corrugated and long-form metal sections, coupled with a good heat-reflective paint for our metal roofing.
