Green Roofing
Going green can mean so many things. I will keep the topic to roofing cause I have an opinion what it can mean as far as your roof is concerned. Keep the gutters cleared! How is this “green” you may ask…
Conservation of water if you have tanks eases the demand on our town water resources not to mention less risk of ember strikes in bush fire season. Also blocked gutters deteriorate the structure advancing the need of replacement let alone moisture retention on wood fixtures.
I have seen a gutter housing/supplying some local birds, nice to witness but not so beneficial to you!
Gutters and their condition are good indicators of how your roof shapes up.
